Brian’s insight into the car

Toyota Land Cruiser is an off-road vehicle designed for off-road driving. It’s almost insane to buy this car if you live in a city or town that has built roads, because it is extremely uncomfortable and stiff. You can only enjoy the ride on the road if you are driving very slowly, otherwise you will feel many disadvantages, such as body roll or slow steering response.

There are vehicles like the BMW X5 envisioned for city driving for which it was made.
The Land Cruiser was designed for traveling through the desert, mud, snow and extreme mountain conditions. It never lets you down for sure!

It is very big and bulky, and in that sense will satisfy everyone’s needs and requirements, and in addition there are options such as hill-start and hill-descent control systems, and driving in the worst conditions will seem impressive.

Brian, which one is the best for me?

As far as equipment is concerned, Toyota is generally generous, so you will be satisfied with even the LC2 base model. You will get power windows, air conditioning, alloys, CD player and many more things …
Although I am a well known fan of diesels, with this model I like the petrol engine 4.0 liter V6, because it’s very friendly and the turnaround speed is truly mesmerizing.

The only problem is that it is a remarkable consumer and there is a possibility that your pet will suck all the money from your pocket, so if you’re an economical person, perhaps you had better opt for the 3.0l turbo diesel, and thus prevent this headache. Also it’s stronger and more flexible in extreme conditions and while pulling loads.

And the running costs are?

The Toyota Land Cruiser is a very expensive car. It’s clear first of all because the car is great and it’s an ATV, so it costs a lot to maintain, but not only that …
At the start it’s expensive to purchase, and the insurance is too costly …
The only thing that is already known is that maintaining a Toyota is cheaper than with its rivals, and even more at independent service outlets.

Problems, and more problems with this car?

So … The Land Cruiser is popular and I have not noticed any bigger problems with it.
What is clear is that the price of this car is its biggest problem ..
In addition, it’s not adjusted for on-road driving.
It has its purpose, so for those who like it,  your welcome ….
