Brian’s insight into this car

The Suzuki Swift falls into the category of cars that do not attract much attention. It’s appearance is unattractive and not very nice, and will not require much effort or attention, not even from the driver. So, if a vehicle is a secondary priority in your life, and it only serves to be transported from point A to point B, you can be sure this is the right vehicle for you.

An extremely reliable car, which has a long tradition of tried and tested Japanese quality, and it should not give you headaches and extra costs.

As far as the ride, comfortable and friendly when city driving is in question, but … I would not recommend it for long trips. The engine is loud and noisy, and produces strong wind and noise in the cabin.
The Japanese well-equipped this kiddy car, and the driver will enjoy extras found only in upper class cars. Heated seats, start button, digital air-conditioning and other extras adorn the interior of the GS model.

Brian, which one is best for me?

Vote between two petrol and one diesel engine. A weaker gasoline engine, which has a capacity of 1.3 l is very weak. Maybe it’s better, in my opinion, the bigger 1.5 l with as 100hp.
Although I am still for the diesel, a real exception with the Suzuki Swift, because there is one more offered with a capacity of 1.3L which has 70hp.

And the running costs are?

As I mentioned above, the Suzuki Swift is very good car. A small consumer, with a regular price both in terms of new and second-hand vehicles.

The vehicle and its spare parts are of quite good quality, and the prices are reasonable, as with the servicing.

Insurance? I’ve already mentioned that it is not particularly attractive! Well not even to thieves! : D
You will pay less for insurance than you’d pay for some of his rivals, and feel free to leave it in the parking lot … You’ll find your pet anytime!

Problems, and more problems with this car?

Like other Japanese cars, the Suzuki is quite reliable.
Take care of the rust that can occur before you would expect it to, though this may be ugly and devastating. Pay attention to the body and watch tfor bubbles that appear and are the first signs of rust.
Tires can be problematic. They wear quickly, and unevenly, which can be dangerous.
Take care of the brakes, which are prone to failure, and most owners complain to me about the gearbox and hard shifting.
Perhaps it will represent a problem to you that some people you call your car ugly 🙂 but you don’t care, and be sure that it will not let you down!

Brian’s final verdict

A car for modest and economical people.
