7th Generation Golf Better Than Ever

Four new engines: 1.2 TSI BlueMotion of 63 kW (85ks), 1.2 TSI BlueMotion, 77 kW (105 hp), 1.4 TSI BlueMotion, 90 kW (122ks) and 1.4 TSI BlueMotion of 103 kW (140hp) with ACT (active cylinder management). These engines can be combined with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox (DSG). 4Motion permanent all-wheel drive is available as an optional in combination with 6-speed manual gearbox and with engines, 1.6-liter 77 kW (105 hp) TDI BlueMotion technology, 2.0 l 110 kW (150 hp) TDI BlueMotion technology.
The basic model of gasoline (TSI) consumes just 4.9 l/100km, and the main diesel engine (TDI) consumes 3.8 l/100 km. TSI models with CO2 emissions of 115 g / km, while CO2 emissions have a TDI of 99 g / km. Golf BlueMotion has the best performance: 3.2 l/100 km and 85 g / km of CO2. Another new engine is the 1.4 TSI with 103 kW/140 hp and automatic disconnection of the cylinder. Combined fuel consumption of gasoline engines, both falling within the sport and steady, at 4.7 l/100 km, which corresponds to 109 g / km CO2. A very important fact is that improved fuel savings of up to 23%, depending on engine choice.
